This busy scene came together fairly quickly, as I wanted it to look as if the birds were soaring through the air, feasting on insects. I normally use brighter, bolder colors but kept this palette a little muted as I started. The exception is the orange I used on the birds’ beaks and feet. The green was added to balance the orange and to give the painting a bit more depth.

This painting is about the appreciation of Nature.
