Very impressionistic piece in a limited palette of storm clouds and rain over the ocean. I painted this while Hurricane Isaias was bearing down on the area after making landfall on the panhandle of Florida. Unfortunately, the rain from this storm came during the second day of the Artist Guild of the Cape Studio Tour in 2026, distrupting our plans. My friend Betty, of Fernandez Fine Art, packed her art and went home, but I stayed open throughout the day. I'm happy I did...I had several art enthusiasts visit, and made many sales. Thank you all who came out to support me! I am beyond grateful.
