Our wetlands and their inhabitants offer abundance, grace & beauty. I am making it a point to paint more animals, birds, and people to reflect the true diversity of Cape May. A pair of white egret anchor the scene as the water snakes its way through the composition, leading your eye to the horizon. The brown waterfowl add more life, and the osprey with a catch adds depth to the upper portion of the painting. The bright greens in the grasses represent vitality.
