In late summer the sun changes position in the sky to reveal a lot of yellow and distant clouds take on a purple hue. Here the sun hangs just high enough in the sky to bathe everything in a stunning golden light that reflects in small ripples across the surface of the water. The contrast of dark green grass helps to intensify the brightness, while the mottled yellow in the sky mimics having to squint your eyes toward the light.

With the color scheme of Easter, this painting represents Peace.
