I’ve always loved the lighthouse and I really do enjoy painting it. I sell my originals, but I only offer prints of this icon at the Oil House Gift Shop, operated by Cape May MAC. It’s my way of supporting the lighthouse and contributing to the non-profit organization that I work for part-time.

This is the view that you have if you are in a boat off Cape May Point, with St. Mary’s (now the Cape May Point Art & Science Center) in front of the lighthouse. The vibrant red on the buildings dominate the painting, though they are by far the smallest element in it. Windows on the structures are the only small detail.
