One man's trash is another man's treasure.  When walking our dog one day, I came upon a couple old framed paintings that were in pretty rough shape.  After the walk, I drove down the street to retrieve them.  It was a chore taking them apart.  The old canvas was crumbling as I was trying to pry the stretchers out of the frames.  A whole lot of elbow grease later along with new canvas, I looked at the size of this and wondered what the heck I was going to do.  Almost 2 years later, I came up with this Van Gogh-inspired wave.
