I ran a second painting session at Cape May's VFW on Monday, April 27, from 1-330pm (we are trying different times of day to see what works best for everyone). 7 people attended, and everyone had a great time! We mixed a variety of colors, from pinks and purples, to baby blue, orange, brown and some lovely greens. It amazes me each time how different each painting turns out, and how each artist's personality is transferred onto the canvas.

We had people from many different walks of life.

Some of them were familiar with painting while others hadn't held a brush for years.

I'm so happy that these events have broad appeal.

It's nice seeing people outside of where I usually see them.

The softness of the purples in the painting on the left were incredible, and the painting on the right had such precise detail work in the flowers.

Again, half of the funds are donated back to the club. We raised $140 today, had some laughs and learned a lot about ourselves and each other. We hope you'll join us soon!
