What is your name, and where do you live?
My name is Margo Kealy, and I live in West Cape May.
Margo also works part time at Cape May MAC. You can often find her in the gift shop at the Cape May Lighthouse.
What is the title, who is the creator, and where did you purchase it?
Hydrangeas & Nandinas, by Audrey. I bought it at her show at Art Space in the summer of 2024.
Note: Art Space is a very small but quite nice gallery owned by Cape May's Poet Laurate, Sylvia Baer. Sylvia runs workshops in the space, but allows artists to use the gallery for 10-day shows each season, FREE OF CHARGE! She's truly fantastic. Check the Facebook page link for upcoming shows.

What first drew you to the item and has that sentiment changed in any way?
I would say the colors really grabbed me from the start, and the subject is flowers, which I really enjoy. The painting has a lot of depth from the abstract background. I loved it when I first bought it, and I still feel the same.
Does this item fit with other parts of your collection, or is it different for you?
It’s different because it’s an original, and a large format (w30" x h24", plus a couple inches on each side for the frame). I have a few prints of other things. I'm just finding out that I enjoy collecting, and that a lot of our local artists are affordable.
Note: Margo has bought a couple more paintings from Audrey. Stay tuned!
Where do you display or use it?
It's in my dining room. Even if it's bad weather out, I have a nice garden view.
