What is your name, and where do you live?
I'm Lisa Faulkner, and I live in Cold Spring, NJ.

What is the title, who is the creator, and where did you purchase it?
This painting is called Hydrangea Garden, by Audrey Beckert. She's a friend of mine, and I purchased it at her booth during the West Cape May Strawberry Festival in 2024.
What first drew you to the item and has that sentiment changed in any way?
The subject of flowers is what drew me in, and hydrangeas are a personal favorite, especially the blues. I also just love this frame. It's kind of rustic, with a big knot from the wood on the bottom, and a distressed finish.
I loved it when I first bought it, but now I have changed it's location in the room, and even changed the paint color in the room to match the painting. I like to say I have even more "heart love" for the painting now.
Does this item fit with other parts of your collection, or is it different for you?
This is different but honestly I don't have a particular style that I buy. My growing collection, which is spread throughout my home, is all based on emotion. I tend to gravitate toward nature, so this fits the bill, but it is such a tight close-up of the flowers that it is not quite a landscape, nor is it quite a still life.

Where do you display or use it?
Originally this room was my little home office, and I hung the painting in there. I've repainted the room and repurposed it. It's still my office, but it's also my laundry room and personal hangout space. It's cozy in size, but not cramped. The painting is a nice transition piece that invites you inside. It hangs on the little sidewall in the doorway, over the lightswitch, and I can see it from my kitchen, so that's a bonus.
